This Privacy Policy explains how Ryan R. Gallop, a California real estate salesperson affiliated with Real Brokerage Technologies (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects personal information. It applies to information submitted through homes.ryangallop.com, by phone, by email, or by text message.
Information we collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
- your name, email address, telephone number, and contact preferences;
- information about your real estate interests, timing, neighborhoods, budget, and message;
- your communications with us, including SMS opt-in and opt-out records;
- when a message contains an owned tracking link, the opaque link token, destination, request timestamp, and whether the request appears to come from a known automated scanner; and
- information you provide if you choose to work with us in a real estate transaction.
Our hosting and form-processing providers may also automatically receive limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, and timestamps, for security, delivery, and reliability.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; provide requested real estate information and services; communicate about your inquiry, appointments, properties, and transactions; operate and secure the website; maintain consent and opt-out records; comply with legal and regulatory duties; and protect our rights and the rights of others.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and communications, such as website hosting, form processing, email, and telecommunications providers. These providers may use the information only to provide services on our behalf. If you engage us for real estate services, and when appropriate or authorized, information may also be disclosed to Real Brokerage and transaction participants such as escrow, title, lending, inspection, and transaction-coordination providers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and safety.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, mobile information, or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers solely to deliver our text messaging program and only as described above. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except aggregators and providers of the text messaging services.
Text messages
If you expressly opt in, we may send conversational text messages related to your real estate inquiry, requested information, appointments, properties, and transaction updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. See our SMS Terms and Conditions for details.
Cookies, message links, and tracking
We do not currently use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising, or behavioral advertising cookies. Some one-to-one messages or email bulletins may contain a personalized link on homes.ryangallop.com that redirects to the information being shared. When that link is requested, we may record the request as an engagement signal so we can understand whether the information was useful and decide whether personal follow-up is appropriate.
A link request does not necessarily mean that you personally opened or viewed it. Email-security scanners, messaging previews, and other automated systems may request links. We identify known automated requests where practical and describe an ordinary redirect event only as a “link request,” not as proof of a view. Outside the destination URL being redirected to, the edge tracker receives no separate fields for your name, email address, telephone number, or our internal contact identifier, and it does not retain a raw IP address or raw user-agent string. We avoid tracking destinations that visibly include contact information. The local customer-relationship system retains the token-to-contact association.
This limited redirect logging does not rely on a browser cookie, so a browser’s Do Not Track setting does not prevent the request from being recorded. We do not use these events for cross-site advertising and do not sell or share them for third-party behavioral advertising. Standard technical logs may still be maintained by hosting providers for security, delivery, and reliability. If these practices change materially, we will update this policy.
Data retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain consent and opt-out records, and to meet legal or professional obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your privacy choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable exceptions. You may opt out of email by replying with your request and opt out of SMS by replying STOP. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children
This website and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The date above shows when it was most recently revised.
